These Terms and Conditions apply to the sale of bathroom products and related goods by Barton Design Centre Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 06434641, whose registered office is at Dunlop House 23a Spencer Road, New Milton BH25 6BZ (“we”, “us” or “our”).

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before placing an order. By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
We supply bathroom products, fixtures, fittings, furniture, sanitaryware, showers, baths, taps, tiles and related products.
We may also provide general product advice, help with product selection and introduce or recommend independent bathroom fitters, plumbers, electricians or other tradespeople.
Unless we specifically agree otherwise in writing, we do not provide bathroom installation or fitting services ourselves.
Where we recommend or introduce an installer, that installer operates independently from us and any installation agreement is between you and the installer.
Any quotation we provide will normally remain valid for 30 days, unless another period is stated on the quotation.
A quotation does not constitute acceptance of an order.
Your order becomes binding when we issue an order confirmation, accept payment or a deposit, or otherwise confirm in writing that we have accepted your order.
Please check your order confirmation carefully, including product descriptions, colours, quantities, dimensions and finishes. You should tell us as soon as possible if anything appears incorrect.
Where you request a change after an order has been accepted, we will let you know whether the change is possible and whether it affects the price or delivery date.
Some products are specially ordered or manufactured specifically for a customer’s requirements. Cancellation rights for these products may differ from products normally held in stock.
Prices will be those stated on your quotation, order confirmation or invoice.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, prices quoted to consumers include VAT at the applicable rate.
Delivery charges, where applicable, will be identified separately.
We may require a deposit or payment in full before ordering products from our suppliers.
Any balance must be paid in accordance with the payment terms stated on the order confirmation or invoice.
We will not increase the agreed price after an order has been accepted unless:
If an obvious pricing or description error is identified before an order has been accepted, we may correct it before accepting the order.
We take reasonable care to ensure that descriptions, specifications, images, samples and other product information are accurate.
However, colours displayed on websites, photographs and screens may differ slightly from the physical product.
Certain products, including tiles, natural stone, timber-effect products and products manufactured in batches, can have natural or manufacturing variations in colour, shade, pattern or texture. These variations are not necessarily defects.
Where matching products are important, particularly tiles, we recommend ordering sufficient quantities, including an appropriate allowance for cutting and wastage, at the same time. We cannot guarantee that products subsequently ordered will come from the same manufacturing batch.
Product dimensions may also be subject to normal manufacturing tolerances.
These provisions do not affect your rights where goods are faulty, materially different from their description or otherwise fail to meet the requirements of consumer law.
Where you provide measurements, dimensions, plans or other information, we will normally rely on the information you provide.
You are responsible for ensuring that customer-supplied measurements are accurate.
If we undertake a measuring or design service ourselves, we will carry out that service with reasonable care and skill.
We strongly recommend that final dimensions, plumbing positions, electrical requirements, clearances and installation requirements are checked by the person carrying out the installation before work begins.
The installer is responsible for assessing the installation site and determining whether the proposed installation can be carried out.
